Fasteners are made of different materials, including stainless steel, carbon alloy, titanium, aluminum, and also coated versions of fasteners. The basic structure of a fastener constitutes of a screw thread. Screw is the male part having an external thread while a hole having an internal thread is the female part. A nut can also be a female part.
Pinnacle Engineering can supply three types of eyelets: straight thimble eyelet, angle thimble eyelet and oval eye eyelet.
Eyelets are also called eye bolts, eye screws or eye nuts. Hot deep galvanized steel is the preferred material for eyelets due to its strength and durability.
The eyelets are mainly used in transmission lines, the dimensions resemble the eye of a needle with an opening just large enough to fit over a bolt that is inserted into it. The eyelet eye diameter can be any size between .041″ to 1.0″.
Eyelets are used in transmission line applications when a secure connection is necessary, eyelets have high tensile strength and can easily be connected to other pieces of tubing using the coupling hub. The eyelet provides electrical insulation between the equipment it is connecting and its environment.
A double arming bolt is another simple but vital overhead powerline accessory. It is mainly used for providing support during the cross arm construction process, o install two cross arms onto the pole line.
It will create spaces between the cross arms to ensure tight fastening of the cross arms without struggling.
The ergonomic design of the double arms cross makes them easy to use. They have threads which pass from one side of the pole to the other one. The two ends of the bolt are secured by nuts and washers.
Double arming bolts come in different sizes. They have different lengths which are measured from one end of the thread to the other end. They also have different diameters which range from 5/8”, 3/4” and 1/2”.

A forged eye bolt is an overhead power line accessory that is used for connecting dead end insulator in an overhead line. The power line fitting is widely used on wooden poles whereby it can connect the overhead line or even dead end insulator. It can also be referred to as the drop forged eye bolt or just forged eyebolt.
Forged eye bolts come in two main designs. These are the oval eye bolts and the round eye bolts. The forged oval eye bolt has a thimble. When you connect the eye bolt to the clevis or a dead end insulator, this thimble will remain locked. Forged eye bolts are usually assembled with square and hex nuts. The nut is then fastened on the eye bolt once it has gone across the wooden pole.
It is made of galvanized steel and are not welded at any point, which ensures the strength of this electric power line accessory.
Hex bolt and nut are two separate power line accessories that are usually used &sold together
A hex bolt is a type of threaded faster that has a male thread on its exterior. It has the shape of a hexagonal. A nut, on the other hand, features a hole into which a bolt will get into. It also has threads that match with those of the bolt.

A pigtail bolt, also known as a pigtail hook or pigtail eye bolt, is designed to be used for connecting the dead end clamps and in some cases, it can also be used on the suspension clamp. N eye pigtail bolt can be used on both electric and communication pole lines.

It is a pole line accessory that is designed to connect or fasten the U channel or steel cross arm to the pole. It can be used on an overhead transmission line and even a communication line.

Usually, the diameter of the head can be 3/8”,5/8”, and 3/4”. The dimension of the square head machine bolt that you choose will depend on your specific area of application.It is made of carbon steel, which makes it resistant to corrosion.

U bolts for overhead powerline come in different sizes. The smaller ones are mainly used for connecting ball sockets and tension clamps.

This eye nut is specifically designed for dead ending and for attaching the pole head guys into the cross arm bolts. The eye nut can also be used for back guying on a power line.
Eye nut for power line comes in different varieties. These are the thimble eye nut, angle thimble eye nut, and the oval eye nut. All of them are applicable to any power line.
